What is Hypnotherapy ?

Hypnotherapy is a gentle, guided process where a trained hypnotherapist helps you access your subconscious mind to support positive changes in thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.

You can think of hypnotherapy as tapping into a deeper part of yourself  where long-standing patterns, beliefs, and habits are stored, so change can happen at the root level.

Is Hypnotherapy safe?

‎Yes, hypnotherapy is completely safe and non-invasive. You are always aware, present, and in control throughout the session.

‎Nothing happens without your consent, and you will never be asked to do anything that feels uncomfortable or misaligned for you.

Will I lose control or do something embarrassing?

‎No,  you remain fully aware and in control during hypnosis at all times.

‎Hypnosis feels similar to a focused daydream or deep relaxation, where your attention turns inward and you become more connected to your inner self. You can speak, move, or stop at any point if you wish.

How is hypnotherapy different from traditional talk therapy?

‎Hypnotherapy works by accessing the subconscious mind to address root causes and reprogram unhelpful patterns, often leading to faster and more direct shifts.

‎While traditional therapy focuses mainly on conscious discussion, hypnotherapy uses guided relaxation and focused attention to reach deeper levels of awareness,  where long-term change can occur more naturally.

How quickly can I see results, and what’s involved?

‎Results vary from person to person, but many clients begin noticing positive changes within 1–3 hypnotherapy sessions.

‎To support lasting results, you’ll receive a personalised hypnosis recording to listen to nightly in a safe, quiet space (not while driving or operating machinery). This reinforces the work at a subconscious level and helps accelerate progress in a calm, regulated state.
