Snappy Behavior might just be getting the best of you. It doesn’t feel good to keep apologizing for something you struggle to control. And that very something is putting a strain on your relationships. To the point where you're always snapping at anything, even your computer that keeps freezing. I know you're probably thinking, IM ONLY HUMAN!!!! But before you throw your computer out the window, I'm here to tell you the world is not plotting against you my friend, you're just overwhelmed... drowning in a sea of responsibilities and expectations. Now that I've got you riled up, just take a deep breath and count with me: 1..2..3..wooosaahhhhh. There's way too much on your plate. You need to prioritize your well being before you reach a breaking point.
What is Burn out?
Burnout is state of emotional, physical, and mental exhaustion caused by dealing with stress for a very long time. This feeling of overwhelm is caused by a lack of balance in life. This also leads you to feeling hopeless, detached from doing things you love and feeling cynical about all aspects of your life.
Common Symptoms of Burnout
Chronic fatigue and exhaustion
Increased irritability and mood swings
Reduced productivity and performance
Lack of motivation and interest in activities
Increased detachment and tardiness
Headaches, Stomach issues and Insomnia
Feelings of guilt, shame and self doubt
Social withdrawal and isolation
If you can relate to these symptoms, your body is begging you for help. In today's fast-paced world, self-care often takes a backseat. We're conditioned to prioritize others' needs over our own, leading to people pleasing and an inability to say no. This behavior can have far-reaching consequences, including damaged friendships and missed opportunities.
When we struggle to cope, it can be overwhelming for those around us. They may feel like they're walking on egg shells, never knowing what might trigger an emotional response. Take a step back and ask yourself and ask yourself: How might your behavior be affecting your loved ones, colleagues, or friends?
It's a hard truth to face, but it doesn't have to be this way. By acknowledging the importance of self-care and setting healthy boundaries, you can start to make positive changes in your life.

When you're on the verge of exploding, take a step back and reassess your life from a fresh perspective. You might realize some worries are beyond your control. Practice letting go. While it's easier said than done, it's a process. Start by being more mindful and aware of your life's dynamics. Keep in mind you wont do a complete 180 over night Take small steps towards change, and remember, progress may be gradual, but it's a step in the right direction.
As we explore the root causes, one thing becomes clear: Work/Life Balance is often the main culprit. When work and life are out of balance, everything suffers - our relationships, our health, and even our overall happiness. But here's the good news, you can always make a change to better yourself. Let's work together to develop a personalized roadmap to help you regain control and balance in your life.
